One, is the type which Yoda (green little thing in Star Wars) talk about...
“Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." The root of such fear is insecurity in, and of this world.
The other type of fear is what the Bible talks about..."Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."
- Ecclesiastes 12:13
The root of such fear is reverence and awe of God, the Creator of this world. Such fear is the answer to the other type of fear which Yoda talks about, for "the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever." We can be secured in the Lord, because "the ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogther righteous. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." - Psalm 19:9 & Proverbs 1:7
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.
Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.
Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
"Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD."
